Senior Internal Controls Analyst

 

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • support MIG head-office teams to identify improvements in controls and ensure control deficiencies are tracked and remediated in agreed timelines,
  • support the end-to-end internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) programme,  
  • lead the tracking and reporting of ICFR control deficiencies,
  • document key financial processes end-to-end, identifying risks and controls and creating a suitable matrix,
  • support the rollout of the internal controls framework.

 

Join us if you have:

  • audit experience, preferably controls-testing focus,
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position,
  • fluent knowledge of English,
  • knowledge of internal control standards,
  • ability to think analytically and solve problems,
  • exposure to an effective understanding of internal controls over financial reporting and controls testing,
  • be a strong communicator and possess an ability to develop trusting and credible relationships at all levels of the business and across various teams,
  • advanced Excel,
  • an understanding of IT systems and operation will be helpful.
