Group Security Tech Support Technician

Location: JD CEE/ MIG Cracow

 

Main job purposes:

  • to assist in the security installation handover, ongoing maintenance of the physical and electronic security equipment within Group JD Sports Fashion plc premises
  • to assist in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Group JD Sports Fashion plc Security Tech Support Helpdesk and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly

The Employer provides initial training in using the system at the Headquarters in England

 

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • ensuring the efficient running and operation of the Tech Support helpdesk
  • efficient and effective monitoring and handling of all e-mail and telephone inquiries and within KPIs
  • use of alarm panel, CCTV, and EAS remote access facility and software to make changes/fixes to these systems to minimise the number of engineer call outs
  • ensuring that the service checklist is completed when a security system is serviced by a contracted engineer
  • ensuring that all security equipment installed or changed out in any new, refurbished, or existing Company sites (and any other security installation project) are programmed with the correct company settings and configuration, and that they continue to function and transmit following handover
  • maximizing business profitability by protecting all company assets

  • reliability, self-discipline, acting in accordance with the rules
  • English level B2
  • knowledge of German (nice to have)
  • readiness to potentially work on some Saturdays/Sundays
